Our classes cater for beginners to advanced levels. They are designed to give each child the ability to build friendships and confidence, while having fun & learning new skills, and to increase fitness while learning to be a part of a team.

Principal - Joanne Stevens

Miss Joanne was trained by Lorraine Payten from the age of 4 in both RAD & BBO studying classical, tap, jazz, highland & national character, passing of her exams. She studied fulltime classical training at Sydney City Ballet with Tanya Pearson & John Byrne. She has performed in numerous musicals including Oklahoma & The King & I, appeared in TV commercial, & performed with David Atkins NRL Winfield Spectaculars. Joanne went onto to dance professionally overseas for 2 years throughout Asia in Singapore, Malaysia & Korea. Upon returning from Asia, Miss Jo set up Seven Hills RSL Dance & Western Dance Academy, now known as J & L Productions.

She has trained many successful students who are currently dancing professionally around the world in such places as Australian Ballet Company, Queensland Ballet Company, Vienna State Opera Company, Manhiem Ballet, Moulin Rouge Paris, Las Vegas, Carnival Cruise Lines. Joanne has 32 years of experience in teaching children. She is a Senior Examiner with the British Ballet Organization and travels Australia & New Zealand examining children. She is also an adjudicator, and the Administrator of the BBO Dance, New Zealand.
